Family, Friends,
I have not forgotten about you. I've been so busy that I haven't had much of a chance to write!
Sorry.
All is well and a quick update:
Beijing was fab. We stayed with a friend from Penn, Thanks Drew!! Your place is PHAT. Saw the great wall, did a little shopping, saw Amy and Ed, Iain, and Drew (a bunch of friends of mine), ate Beijing Duck, saw hutongs, forbidden city (the outside cause it was closed), the temple of heaven (outside cause that was closed too), Houhai (trendy 'meat-packing' district of Beijing but without stylish hotties running around in heels), rode on a rickshaw, walked around and then I jumped on a plane to NY...and jeff return un solo to Shenzhen.
I was home in NY for a quick yet fab adventure~ I didn't want to leave and almost missed my plane (oops!)
Saw EVERYONE I COULD~
Didn't sleep for a week but had a blast!!
Thanks to everyone who made it awesome!
I have some great pics and fun stories, but that will have to wait until I have more time to post~
I then returned to China and have been going back and forth to trade shows for the last week.
Trade shows are always interesting, yet extremely tiring because it consists of me RUNNING up and down rows and rows of crap carrying lots of catalogs. NOT FUN.
I have no pics but you dont really need to see any. Just image the Dollar Store...with Chinese people asking me for my business card every 10 seconds. You do learn tricks, which are fun...like running up and grabbing a catalog before they can ask for your name card...or pretending not understand English and just take a catalog and when they ask for your card, stare blankly and walk away shaking your head in a confused and frustrated manner (my personal favorite) or just saying, 'sorry, ran out.'
Coming up, the Philippines. I leave in less than 1 week for yet another vacation of booze, beaches, and coconuts.
xoxo
